06 - The Month of October - The halfway point


It's this time again, monthly review time. As stated before, this post is actually back-dated from mid-November due to various delays in schedule.
184/365 down, 181 days to go (that's about 50.4% done!!)
6/12 down, 6 months to go (50.000% done!!)
YES, we have reached the halfway point for this project!

Well, as usual, let's do a recap at what I've posted so far, shall we?

Just to remind, I would be reviewing on a weekly basis, what the week's supposed theme (if any) would be, and the individual songs posted (as well as the actual link to the post). [This is gonna be a copy-pasta from previous months]

And that's the end of the recap. Eventhough this is the 3rd time I'm using a saved formatting to assist in making this, it is still long work as always, the copying and pasting and finding what to replace where. Phew~!

October came and went relatively just like that. Nothing new that happened within the blog itself, except that for this month, a little something called 'mini-posts' started popping up. Two, in fact, popped up in the span of 4 days! They are just small short posts that are there to complete whatever I felt like completing. Now, I created them both out of goodwill to the week's theme that I did (which I really enjoyed), so there's no saying when or IF these mini-posts will return again in the future. Well, as long as I find it justifiable, it will be there (now that I've created it as a 'feature' of the blog).

Also, to those of you who noticed, this is the first time VOCALOIDs and Touhou are in the same month; more MIKU songs (which is always welcomed) and with Touhou game songs this time around (last time I did the doujin musics). I spent quite some energy with the 2 week's posts (such that it may have affected my other weeks, but who cares), though I felt the VOCALOID ones could use more. Anyways, 2 of my favourite things in the same month. Given my current schedule of things, this may once more happen on the 12th month. So look forward to it (I would) in April!!

Anyways, here's to November, the end of semester and the onset of exams! I will definitely be buried in revision and will therefore struggle to update the blog (who am I kidding, I'm writing this in Mid-November). But I shall keep to my promise of 1 song per day, or at LEAST 7 songs in a week. We have reached the half-way point of this blog, and I'd like to assure you that if you've enjoyed the first half, more good things are coming your way in the next half.
