Week 24 Day 1 - Septette for the Dead Princess

And welcome to Week 24. This week I shall revisit the Touhou-themed week, in particular, the actual songs found in-game as well as the many MANY other musical rearrangements. For this week's touhou songs, I shall choose to focus on the Bosses themes (that is, Stage 6 characters theme songs), starting with:-

Song: 亡き王女の為のセプテット
Naki oujo no tameno SEPUTETTO (Septette for the Dead Princess)
Theme of Remilia Scarlet (レミリア・スカーレット | Remiria Sukāretto)

Remilia Scarlet, the owner of the Scarlet Devil's Mansion, is the boss for the 6th Touhou game, Touhou Koumakyou ~The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil~ [東方紅魔郷| Eastern Lands of the Scarlet Devil]. Below is a gameplay video featuring the final stage AND the final boss (at hardest difficulty):-

Here's another game version remix, from the game Touhou Hisouten ~Scarlet Weather Rhapsody~ [東方緋想天 | Eastern Skies of Scarlet Perceptions]. Of note, this game is the 10.5 in the series. (Basically after Touhou 10, before Touhou 11)

Other re-arrangements of the song include:-

[Utilizing Electronic Wind Instrument (or EWI). The PVs are also a plus there]

[The return of marasy in this blog!! Piano cover, as you would expect from marasy]

[Violin arrangement by TAMusic]

[Re-arrangment by the group called 彩音 ~xi-on~ [I call them xi-on for short]]

[Another electric guitar re-arrangement by DEMETORI]

[A rock remix by the circle group [とらのあな] (toranoana)]

[Here's another one, by one of my more favourite circle, SHO (was Sonic HiSpeed Omega, now Sonic Hybrid Orchestra). Found them by accident and I love it!]

I think that's about all the circles that I wanna feature anyways. It would be noticeable that most of them are sorta rock-ish in general, but I guess that's how I prefer it. Hope you enjoy the first entry of this touhou game music - boss music version.
As usual of Sundays, second post to follow soon.
See ya soon.

Note: This game was the first to be released for the Windows platform in 2002. It is awesome, no?
