Week 43 Day 4 - K-On!

Today I shall bring you 2 IN songs (instead of the usual OP/ED combination). First up, I'd like to say that finding the right videos for the 2 songs is VERY HARD indeed (as there are many other videos mixed in, as well as lack of official material). Anyways, here it goes:-



Song: わたしの恋はホッチキス by 放課後ティータイム
Watashi no Koi wa HOCCHIKISU (My love is a HotchKiss/Stapler) by Houkago Tea-Time





Song: ふでペン ～ボールペン～ by 放課後ティータイム
Fude PEN BORU PEN (Calligraphy Pen ~Ballpoint Pen~) by Houkago Tea-Time


For those who don't realize it, Houkago Tea-Time [放課後ティータイム | After School Tea-Time] is the band in K-On! series. Whilst it involves all 5 members [which I won't list down all, info is available on other K-On! songs I've posted.] the main vocals for these are mainly Yui Hirasawa [平沢 唯 -C.V. Aki Toyosaki] and Mio Akiyama [秋山 澪 -C.V. Hikasa Yoko]. These songs, therefore, have 2 versions of the same song, with each person singing a more prominent version. I therefore find it hard to find the 'correct' version.

That being said, for the first song, it was used as the IN to the show in episode 8, which is hopefully viewable below:-



I really like the guitar bit in this song, with the bass nicely accompanying it. No, not referring to those just because they are the 2 vocalists to this song, but in general (despite me having no skills in guitar what-so-ever). The general feel of this song sounds really great (to me anyways).

A more upbeat song of-sorts than the previous one, this is another good song that I readily anticipated its release when the show was airing. Thankfully I didn't have to wait long for them to release not 1, but 2 versions of the song. (Both versions only differ in who (Mio or Yui) sings what (verse 1,3 and verse 2))

Hope you like both these songs here. For me, I prefer HOTCHKISS to PEN, especially if there's a MIO full version out there, but that's just me anyways.
