08 - The month of December - The closing of a year


Yep! It's this time again, monthly review time. I'm Two-Thirds through!!
245/365 down, 120 days to go (that's about 67.123% done)
8/12 down, 4 months to go (66.667% done)

Well, as usual, let's do a recap at what I've posted so far, shall we?
Again sadly, this post is also back-dated, by about 2 weeks.

Just to remind, I would be reviewing on a weekly basis, what the week's supposed theme (if any) would be, and the individual songs posted (as well as the actual link to the post). [This is gonna be a copy-pasta from previous months]

And that's the end of the recap. Quickened the process by cutting corners, but still, you know the drill (takes an hour copying and pasting and fixing typos). Still, a task set is a task to be done.

As mentioned previously, coming back to lesser internets was to be an obstacle in this month's course (as well as February's, I predict), so there were delays mid-month of December. Also, due to non-scheduled days of holidays, posts are up and down irregularly, as per usual. Nevertheless, there were 31 posts (32, including the special X'mas repost) in 31 days, so all is still well.

Also, as with last month, where I went crazy and posted 20 songs in a week, I found myself doing that more and more. And therefore, in order not to reduce the quality (or more like, quantity) of the posts, I decide to save trouble in the review side by only putting the title of the original intended post (or the opening post only) of the day's song. All others will be classified as bonus, for this blog originally promises seven songs per day. This is still whimiscal and I might change my mind in the coming months.

Additionally, VOCALOID is back to commemorate the 2/3 land mark of this blog. And to do so, I went on and made the biggest craziest post ever in Week 35 Day 4 (I marked it as Crazy in the above review). Why so? Because I posted a whopping 7 songs, INCLUDING 3 additional videos EACH from NND in regards to the song. That's... beyond what any sane person would wanna listen to, but I put it up for my own enjoyment (which is what this blog is partially mainly about anyways). So yea, I promise to never let that insanity take me on again, by throwing in many songs in 1 single post.

Additionally, updates have been made to a couple of Vocaloids post (Double Lariat and Rolling Girl with biggest updates) as a New Years Day Special.

In any case, here's to a BRAND NEW YEAR, January 2011, where the songs will get more and more awesome as I approach my trump cards. It's also the three-quarter mark too, so yea, VOCALOIDs scheduled to make ANOTHER appearance in the month! [I have my reasons for the rescheduling, and it's NOT for the 3/4 mark-way]. I hope the random days of the holidays would not throw me off my schedule too much yet, and that the new year will manage to keep me focused on finishing this project in 4 months time.
