So it's Tuesday, and I'm only at my first post. In any case, this week's post will be back to your good ol' decent anime songs. Let me start it off with:-
Song: The Fourth Avenue Cafe by ラルク アン シエル
The Fourth Avenue Cafe by L'arc-en-Ciel
This song was used as the ED4 (albeit temporarily) for the hit samurai show, Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Swordsman Romantic Story [るろうに剣心 -明治剣客浪漫譚- | Rurōni Kenshin Meiji Kenkaku Rōmantan], or more commonly known as Samurai X. The ED found below:-
[Credit-less version]
However, this song was only used for a mere 6 episodes due when one of L'arc's member was found of illegal drug possession. L'arc eventually replaced that member, and 9 years later, released the single to the song in 2006.
Anyways, lyrics can be found here.
And additional stuffs here:-
[Live concert performance from 2006: 15th anniversary. The 1994 just indicates when this song was first written perhaps]
[Another live performance vid.]
[Nice piano cover]
[In synthesia, if it helps in piano playing]
[Elec guitar cover]
[A very decent 'acoustic' uttatemita.]
[Random uttatemita by DA∞. Sounds pretty decent]
[A Ruroke (short form of Rurouni Kenshin) AMV]
[Short MAD from Tales of the Abyss]
[Hatsune MIKU cover. Not the most well-done but, meh.]
[Kagamine RIN cover. Much better IMO]
And that's all I have. I should tell the story of how I hunted down this song back when I had low resources on what the ED's title was. It didn't help that the ED was only played so few times when I watched it weekly on the tele. But in any case, I found it, and there was much rejoicing (for myself only), only to realize ED6 was so much more superior.
Anyways, on to the next post. Ciaoz!
Note: It's sad that L'arc had to wait 9 years to release the single, but it is well worth the wait (to some anyways)
