Week 32 Day 7 - Force Your Way

And for the final post of the Game OST week, I give you something 'classic':-

Song: Force Your Way by 植松 伸夫
Force Your Way by Nobuo Uematsu

Why I say 'classic'? First up, it's your boss battle music, it's from a JRPG, and finally it's from Final Fantasy (what mention of game does not include that? Ok, bad point). Anyways, this song is the (Normal) Boss Battle theme for the game Final Fantasy VIII. Not the most iconic version of the song, but I likes it best. Below is a clip on a boss battle with the song, and what better boss fight than the best one there, Omega Weapon.

[Note: Omega weapon is harder than this vid makes it to look. Just have to know what you're up against]

Well, unlike my previous Final Fantasy post (WAAAAAY back in July), this song does not have MANY additional arranges to put up as additional videos, save one.

[Re-arranged version by The Black Mages (project by Nobuo himself). It's great stuff]

[Comes with a live-concert performance too]

Some fancy stuff from NND:-

[Always love a good MIDI version]

[Here's another arranged version, but with cuter graphics]

[A replay video featuring Squall VS Cloud to the Black Mages version of the song. Just putting it cos it looks great and the song is relevant. Too Bad Dissidia did not re-arranged this song. Here's hoping that Dissidia 012 would have it]

That's all I've got to show now. As with the previous Final Fantasy post, there are quite a number of guitar/piano cover versions around the net, just that I'm quite too lazy to post them here. Quick googling/youtube-ing/NND would grant you the result you desire (though it might be trickier with NND).

Anyways, that's all for now folks. See you Sunday for the next week's stuffs.

Note: I believe that this song became my first ever mp3 file that I have owned.
