Welcome to Day 5. The next song would be:-
Song: ココロ by 鏡音リン
KOKORO [Heart/Soul] by Kagamine RIN
One of the first songs for Kagamine RIN, this song went massive when it first came out.
This song speaks about a robot awakening years after her creator scientist has passed away, trying to find her missing 'component', the kokoro (heart or soul, both seems interchangeable here). I shouldn't spoil too much, but let the videoS below show you:-
[MMD]
Knowing the lyrics does help. Alternative is here.
And here are some nico-covers:-
[Nice one with an 'intro']
[Short Orchestral version]
[Piano arrange.]
[Nico Kara version for you karaoke singers out there]
[This song also appeared in the 2010 Miku's thanksgiving concert. Whoopee to RIN]
But wait, where are the twins that I promised you yesterday, I hear some cry.
For a song like this, another composer also created a version for LEN, using the same melody but altering the lyrics to create another perspective. I give you:-
Song: ココロ・キセキ by 鏡音レン
Kokoro/Kiseki (Heart/Miracle) by Kagamine LEN
Additional PV:-
Lyrics to this song (for better understanding) can be found here.
What happens when you play both songs side-by-side? Beauty happens:-
[Hanatan!! She sings both version]
[Duet of the song, by Usa and Yamai]
[An 'anime' (coloured drawings) version that shows both songs]
[Obligatory Nico-chorus version]
[Another great one]
Below is bonus material:-
[A manga drawn that fully shows the KOKORO story. B/g music are various versions of the song]
A alternative version, created as a 'parody' of sorts. This is known as the "lambda-organ" series.
[The original]
[The prequel to the above. Great piano]
[alternative sequel/timeline]
Well, I've definitely over-stayed the post here. Damn, it looks to be as long as the previous post already. Probably haven't re-tuned myself.
Anyways, that's all now. Next post coming up soon.
Perhaps a short break from the Kagamine would be good now.
Ciaoz
Note: Has everyone found their KOKORO?
