Week 39 Day 1 - Imitation Black

Alright.
First up, it's VOCALOID WEEK!
Secondly, I would like to apologize for the reschedule in my weekly themes (as I am not doing what I alluded to on Friday), but the timing of it all made me do it.

Anyways, onwards with the first song:-

First up first. The reason why I decided to make this week (week 39) the VOCALOID week, is MAINLY and SOLELY because, in Japan, 39 can also be said as Mi Ku (as opposed to the full San-jyu Kyuu). I believe I have said enough.

Anyways, moving on to the song, the PV shows some very interesting (if not, weird) designs by the characters, but this is in line with what is known as visual-kei image featured by many j-rock artists (eg. Siam Shade). Gothic cross-dressing apparently was one of them, though I really do not know (and shouldn't comment further). In any case, enjoy the additional videos:-

Wow. I am surprised. For a VOCALOID song, I am ending this post as is like so. I mean, sure, I am not doing a LOT of the vids there credit when there are other nico-covers to be previewed, but I think most can be found here easily. Maybe I'm just really tired right now to do it. That or poor song selection.

Anyways, no bonus song for a short post (I promised myself AGES ago not to get into that habit). So that's it from me today. Hope to see you in a few hours time later for the next one.

Another similar visual-kei song with the same group [now dubbed as VanaN'Ice], this song is actually a re-rendition of a MIKU's (with Gakupo and Rin) original song:-



Song: Fate -Unmei no Tobira- by Hatsune MIKU (Chorus by Gakupo & RIN)

While MIKU's version was the original (both were done by the same composer/producer), it wasn't as popular as VanaN'Ice's version, as the multitude of Nico-covers on NND shows. I'll only be show-casing the most popular one though, and that is:-
