And to end the week with a Bang, here's my next song:-
[Leave the NND comments ON for this vid to work best]
Song: アンインストール by 石川智晶
ANINSUTOORU (Uninstall) by Chiaki Ishikawa
Don't let the intro put you off (like it almost did for me). This is a great song, and it was used as the OP to the show Bokurano [ぼくらの | "Our"], which was a pretty decent show itself. The OP found below:-
[Make of the show's mood what you will]
Several lyrics sources (which is worth a read at), found here, here and there.
Now, additional stuffs:-
[The actual PV. Would you believe that Chiaki is about 37-38 when the PV is made?]
Now, there have been a few cover versions for this song. First and foremost is of course:-
[Hatsune MIKU and Kagamine RIN version. The CUTENESS!!]
[Other VOCALOID covers include the OFFICIAL Hatsune MIKU version, MEIKO, KAITO, Kasane Teto & VY01 and even Iroha Neko. Also a variety of choruses.
[Cover by m.o.v.e]
[Awesome cover by Masaaki Endoh. Video COMPLETELY irrelevant]
Moving onto nico covers and nico chorus, this one tends to sum it all up:-
[It even has a nice omake section, which I'm still trying to find the source]
[Note: Use this link to find other singers that caught your attention.]
[Ver by Gomu. He was trying hard... I think]
[Re:'s acapella version of the OP edit. A full version sung (with music) is found here.]
[ISAJI's version deserves some sort of special mention. Though it's only relevant for the first 90 seconds (and not the LAST 90 seconds, thankfully)]
[Interesting ROCK version, though I don't think it's the same as the one in the above nico-chorus]
[Another Nico-chorus version, CHAOS version that is.]
[The best version. Most of the original works can be viewed here.]
Moving on to instrumental covers, we have:-
[The great piano cover from Do no Hito. Always wanting to learn this version]
[Synthesia version. Comes quite close to the above]
[Scream no hito's Violin version.]
[A very interesting band-session, as it gives a different mood to it]
[But nothing quite beats this band-session]
[And nothing beats this one too. But do watch this one too.]
[A very interesting Metal/Electronic remix]
And finally moving on to MADs and other interesting vids:-
[A relevant MAD to Suzumiya Haruhi. Here's another that tries to emulate the "disappearance" story line, 3 years before the movie got released. It's great.]
[For those who do not know Lucky Star, this is not how the show really is]
Other MADs include a FF7:AC MAD, Gintama, IdolM@ster, Nanoha & FFX amongst many others.
[Pitched down ALMOST choir-like version]
[And I can't mention choir without these lamas, now can I?]
[A collection of TRAUMA anime-scenes. This vid is likely in response to...]
[The games that apparently causes trauma to many. I like the vid though]
And to top it all off, the one song that got me into EXIT Trance:-
[As I said, EXIT Trance]
OK, that ends it. I probably over-stayed by post here.
I managed to brave through the week being half-sick (by that I mean being sick for half the week) and still managed to deliver. Next week's theme will be a focus on a particular group (much like the m.o.v.e or TWO-MIX ones), so look forward to it. I have featured this band partially once before, but it's still a pleasure to do more.
Until then, see you Sunday.
Note: I have lost the official count to the number of times I have heard this song (not counting the variations found here, but almost everytime I reformat my PC (every 9-11 months), the play count is at least 400+. Phew! And still loving it.
