Week 39 Day 4 - Group Collaborations

So, for today, rather than feature one duet version of a song, I decided to feature several songs that are multiple VOCALOIDs collaboration in nature.
Sadly though, it makes it harder for a nico-cover or nico-chorus to happen (and possibly, the lack of popularity might be involved too), so there won't be much additional stuffs.

Anyways, onwards with the first song:-



Song: 春日通り by 初音ミク, 神威がくぽ, 鏡音リン, 鏡音レン, MEIKO &　KAITO
Kasuga Avenue [Kasuga doori] by Hatsune MIKU, Kamui Gakupo, Kagamine RIN, Kagamine LEN, MEIKO & KAITO
[Note: This song is about a place in Japan, hence the slightly weird PV]


When I first encountered this song while I was looking for potential popular VOCALOID songs, I felt that it was very nice use of the multiple VOCALOIDS. At that point, I didn't realize the context of the song at all. In fact, due to lack of resources, I still don't know what the song is really about. But listening Kamui Gakupo in this song is great enough.

There is a chorus version (by non-nico residents I guess) of the song, viewable here. Not gonna be showcasing it.

Anyways, enough ranting. Onwards to the next song:-



Song: 花結び by 初音ミク, 巡音ルカ, 神威がくぽ, 鏡音リン, 鏡音レン, KAITO, MEIKO & メグッポイド
Rose Bow [Hanamusubi] by Hatsune MIKU, Megurine LUKA, Kamui Gakupo, Kagamine RIN, Kagamine LEN, KAITO, MEIKO & GUMI

One of the largest ensemble VOCALOID cast I've seen, it has it's decent bits. Also, the song itself is a collaboration of many composers/writers/producers apparently (according to the wikia page).

Next is a series of songs by Pantan-C, Pantan-D and Pantan-P [I do not know if they are different individuals, but each arranged, produced and directed the series below. [Note: the english title contains a link to the youtube subbed video, for those wanting lyrics and translations]:-

Just 2 more songs to cover. One of them is part of a 'seven deadly sins' series, but only this is in the group form:-

The Madness of Duke Venomania [Venomania Kou no Kyouki] by Kamui Gakupo with Hatsune MIKU, Megurine LUKA, Megpoid, MEIKO & KAITO

While the melody and tune of the song could be better and more memorable (to me), the PV and what the song shows in the story is more than enough to level it up. Further viewing includes nico-covers and nico-chorus, which is quite a few.

And last, but not least, a decent one with a huge story to it:-



Song: 人柱アリス by 初音ミク, 鏡音リン, 鏡音レン, KAITO & MEIKO
Alice Human Sacrifice [Hitobashira Alice] by Hatsune MIKU, Kagamine RIN, Kagamine LEN, KAITO & MEIKO

The song tells the story of Alice (from Alice in Wonderland) and the various forms of 'Alice' that has come and gone to sustain Wonderland. Check the lyrics (linked) for more info on the story. Also, apparently there have been many fanmade PVs that help build the story, so here I leave with the link that will assist the viewers in looking out for them [as I promised not to cover additional stuffs today]. It helps heaps that the most viewed vid is NOT the original song too.

In any case, this ends my VOCALOID group collaborations post. While most aren't abundantly popular like previous ones I have done, they each have their own merits which I enjoy listening to. Until tomorrow for another duet, adios
