Week 12 Day 1 - Take Me Higher

It's a new week, and I'm late YET again.
So another triple post due for today, possible double tomorrow and another double the day after the day after tomorrow (ie. Friday)
Anyways, what theme do I have for this week? After looking through all my other lists, I've come to reach this one. Although I'm slightly not too keen about doing it now, but maybe it's about time (get it done and over with as some might say). So the theme of the week is

*drum rolls*

Tokusatsu! or Japanese super heroes!
If you're uncertain as to what it is, perhaps the first song posting might shed some light:-

Song: Take Me Higher by V6

This was the song used for the 1996-1997 (Gosh, it's been THAT long?) series, Ultraman TIGA, which is the 11th in the series (currently Japan is airing its 25th). The actual OP found below:-

[Note: For those who do not know Ultraman TIGA, or the Ultra series in general, please click on the provided links for more information]

Additional videos to add are:-

[Off-vocal with Karaoke]

[Re-mixed version, with longer and nice sounding piano intro]

(and associated karaoke version)

[Version with on-screen lyrics + Translations]

[Song sung by unknown Nico singer]

UPDATE!
This song was also self-covered by the original song producer. Do find it here (at the bottom of the post).
UPDATE!

Phew! Long post on a day where I have to do triple posting.
Anyways, the song is almost typical of V6 songs, but it is their 4th single when they did this (which then shot them to popularity further than before, also because one of the members was the main character of this show too), even earlier than the other 2 V6 songs I've posted before.
Personally, I can't remember how I came about this song, as I definitely did not watch this series at all. But nevertheless, I still consider it a good find and am still occasionally listening to it (like right now)

Anyways, on to my next post!

Note: Can't believe that this show/song is already 13-14 years old
