And the 2nd post of the week, Another introduction to the VOCALOID family. This time someone who was released after MIKU and part of a duo of voices. I give you ONE of the twins, Kagamine LEN (鏡音レン):-
Song: ヤンデ恋歌 by 鏡音レン
Yanderenka (Len's Psychotic Love Song, not sure exactly how that is transliterated) by Kagamine LEN.
Ok, well, not wanting to give off a bad image with such a song in the first place, but psychotic theme aside, I find this to be a decent song.
In any case, Kagamine LEN (or sometimes REN) is one half of the Kagamine package (the other being RIN). I'll feature her in the next couple of posts, but they are either twins or 2 individuals who look very alike, at the same age and have similar names (fans have depicted them being both, although Yamaha's official store is the latter one).
In any case, here's a secondary PV of the above. Seems like the intro has been changed from what I can see:-
And here's one with annotated English lyrics:-
[The fanmade PV seems to have captured a nice effect there]
Although, I also have the lyrics + romanji over here.
Additional stuffs include:-
[Karaoke version with furigana lyrics]
[Cover by 発狂しながら (not sure how to say it). She also does a few 'comments' which makes the song a LOT nicer + scarier]
[Note: I used the youtube version as it also has various lyrics. The nico version is here.]
[Note2: in NND, the singer's name was displayed as 【96猫】, so not sure the one on youtube changed it]
[Cover by コモ太 (Gomo Inu). I think it's a HIM based on other songs, but sounds like a her here.]
[8 person collaboration/compilation. Sounds fantastic. Includes the 2 artists above]
That's about it I guess. Feel free to hunt down the other 6 singers, but based on viewership and also time-constraints, I leave that up to you guys to watch 'em.
So here's Kagamine LEN for you, with a song that you can play emotionally with. Hehe. I'll feature his other half in my next, next post.
Until then, here's me signing off. Ciaoz
Note: Don't turn yandere with this song.
Note2: The song's title is actually refering to 'yandere', to which I quote:
"is a Japanese term for a person who is initially very loving and gentle to someone before their devotion becomes destructive in nature, often through violence.
The term is derived from the words yan (ヤン) meaning a mental or emotional illness and dere (デレ) meaning to show affection.
Yandere characters are mentally unstable, often using extreme violence as an outlet for their emotions."
Hence the 'psychotic' nature of the song's theme.
