How should I begin...
Alright, whilst [btw: is this pronounced while-st or whil-st?] I was listening to one of my Exit Tunes album, I came across a song which sounded VERY familiar, yet not something I have heard much...
A few quick searches later, I remembered it from this particular scene:-
No, not refering to "Ike! Godman" sung by Konata at the beginning, but the other one "Makenaide" sung by apparently all four of them [btw: this is Lucky Star anime ED in case anyone wants to know]
FYI, the full version of the song was released in the first of LS's ED albums, which can be found in the embed-ment below:-
But, being a Lucky Star ED, it's definitely a cover of something right? (to those who watched, you know what i'm talking about) [Hint: they are at a karaoke bar]
So I did another quick search around my favourite search sites and came across this:-
Song: 負けないで by Zard
Makenaide (My translation: Don't lose) by Zard
It's apparently Zard's greatest hit and is used (and still used) as the main song for several events/commercials/companies/what-nots... Its sad that Zard (or Izumi Sakai) has passed away a couple of years back. More info about her/the group can of course be found on the web [hint: wiki!]
Anyways, I found it to be an entertaining song, so here it is to be shared. Sadly, no youtube vid of it with translated lyrics came up within the first 2 pages, so for song lyrics translation please refer to the www.. or

Phew, the post is longer than i thought. Multiple embed-ment might be a bad thing, but who cares for now. Also, this feels like double posting but it IS a new day, thus entitled to a new post.
Will continue strongly with this project!! (at least, for another 10 days)
Note: Entertaining song is lively, happy-go-lucky and entertaining song
P.S. For those wanting to hear the ExitTunes ver.

I will not be embedding this (for now)
Edit: Cheers to a friend for teaching me how to insert active links in...
