Ahh, forgive my tardiness once again. I promise to get right on track soon enough.
Anyways, it's a new week, therefore a new theme is needed. And I shall introduce you to another 'series' that has popularity not unlike the Vocaloids, but in a different manner. Well, first, the song:-
Song: ケロ⑨ destiny by Silver Forest
KERO ⑨ Destiny by Silver Forest
[Note: Kero = ribbit (onomatopoeia of sound frogs make)]
This week, let me give you the Touhou Doujin Music Collection - Silly Ver.-
First, let me explain a couple of things.
Touhou is a 'danmaku' (or heavy bullets) game created by this one individual (called ZUN). It has gained a huge popularity for it's difficulty, the beautiful bullet patterns found within the game, the huge amount of characters, and also the music (which is all composed by ZUN himself).
Doujin basically can mean fan-made. It is basically an amateur-ish (or semi-professional) band taking a song (in this case, a Touhou song) and re-arranging it (by adding vocals, changing the feel of the song, but ultimately keeping the tune)
Silly version, where the songs are light-hearted and senseless much. Don't worry, this implies that there is a more 'serious' or better version in the future. Just bear with me for now.
I was actually contemplating putting a Touhou OST Music Collection out this week, but I think I prefer to save it for next time. So bear with me a bit while I put out the arranged version of the songs first before giving to you the original (plus OTHER instrumental arrangements).
Anyways, here are some additional videos:-
[Another version video]
[Piano version by marasy (you'll get to know him pretty well in the future)]
[Nice Parody-arrangement. Note: See, Touhou and Vocaloids go together]
[Miku version of the original]
Anyways, I've spent plenty o'time on this. Not sure if I have time for the next post. Maybe tomorrow. We shall see.
Till then, ciaoz
Note: This song is kinda great, don't you agree?
[Bonus!!!!]
[Alternate version with Cirno. Think of it as a 'reply' to the original song. Lyrics are here]
